Bomkazi Vava is a registered Candidate Scientist (Cand.Sci.Nat), junior hydrogeologist, and PhD candidate in Geohydrology. Her research and professional work focus on groundwater systems and sustainable water resource development. Bomkazi is a published contributor in Water & Sanitation Africa Magazine (Sep/Oct 2023) and a proud member of the Golden Key International Honour Society. She serves as the Western Cape Provincial Lead for the Young Water Professionals South Africa (YWP-SA) under WISA, where she advocates for youth inclusion, collaboration, and innovation in the water sector.
