Onkarabile Pooe is a PhD Candidate at unisa, he is working on the fabrication of electrochemical sensors for the application on detection of pollutants in water. He mainly majors in applied electrochemistry, and his main interest is in water sustainability. He serves as the North West Coordination Lead for the Young Water Professionals (YWP-SA) under WISA, where he advocates for youth inclusion, collaboration, and innovation in the water sector.
