
Tshireletso Madumo
Tshireletso Madumo is a Professional Natural Scientist in Chemical Science with over a decade of experience in the water and wastewater sector. She is a PhD candidate in Chemistry at the University of Johannesburg, developing membranes for hexavalent chromium removal from wastewater. Her research supports SDG 6. She holds a Master’s in Chemical Engineering from UNISA and previously worked at Ekurhuleni Water Care Company. Recognized as a 2024 American Chemical Society Sustainability Star, she is a 2025 Women of Stature finalist and was featured among the Top 50 Most Memorable Women of 2024 by Feature Magazine in Science and Technology. Her work includes peer-reviewed publications and presentations at WISA Conferences,PolyScience2023 in Lisbon and the World Nanotechnology Conference in Singapore.
