Building on the success of the 7th WISA YWP-ZA Conference, the 8th edition poses two key questions: “What happens after we break silos?” and “How do we create enduring synergy in water management?” This in-person event brings together young water professionals (YWPs) from across South Africa for two full days of dynamic sessions and discussions.
The conference features four focused sub-theme tracks: Policy Integration and Governance, Innovative Technologies and Data-Driven Solutions, Climate Resilience and Adaptive Management, and the Water-Energy-Food Nexus, each hosted in dedicated conference rooms. Alongside workshops, presentations, and networking, a closing plenary will reflect on outcomes and future directions. Off-site technical tours will offer practical insights into real-world water management.
YWPs from diverse backgrounds are invited to join this collaborative platform to deepen knowledge, build skills, and foster lasting partnerships for a synergistic water future.

The 8th YWP-ZA Conference will take place at The Boardwalk Hotel and Casino in Gqeberha, Eastern Cape, South Africa.
