Nsuku Chanakira is the national vice lead for YWP. She is currently working as a Principal Hydrologist at Thungela Resources. She holds an MSc in Water Science, Policy and Management from University of Oxford. She also has a BSc honours degree in Hydrogeology and a BSc degree in Environmental and Engineering Geology from University of Pretoria. She has over 5 years’ experience in environmental and water management gained in the mining and development sectors. Nsuku has also served as a member of the Young Scientific Programme Committee for World Water Week in Sweden, in charge of seminar coordination with the committee's Chair.
