Mr Khuboni is born and bred in the city of Pietermaritzburg at the province of KwaZulu-Natal (South Africa). Currently, he is employed as a Chemical Sciences Laboratory Technician in a state-owned water entity; Umgeni Water. He’s an aspiring Scientist and a Master of Science (in Chemistry) student at the Nelson Mandela University where he looks to compete the degree by end of 2020. 

He holds certificates in leadership programmes with Black Management Forum (Young Professionals Leadership Program) and with the international Duke Corporate Education (Leadership Development Program). 

His experience includes his current role as a Country Director for Young Global Leaders Network (YGLN) and is a past immediate Deputy Secretary General for Umgeni Water Young Professionals (UWYP) forum.
